BREAD FOR THE WORLD - LETTER WRITING CAMPAING

Please consider writing to:
President, your Senators, your Congressman (Congresswoman), your State Governor, Senators, Representatives, your County political Representatives, your city Mayor and city Councilmen (Councilwomen).

SAMPLE LETTER

your name: __________________________
address:      _________________________

Dear:          ________________________

Please enact legislation, support programs and increase funding for feeding the poor, the homeless and fatherless children located in our country and other poor countries around the world.

Please request  that much of the funding for the poor and for hunger programs go to small local family farmers in the areas of need; so that local communities will be strengthened and will be empowered to handle current and future problems in their own local communities.  Luke 10:29

Furthermore, please consider funding local community gardens to be located in urban parks, inner city schools and churches (temples). Community Gardening programs are very effective in teaching children and building strong communities.    http://www.seattletilth.org

Community Gardening therapy can be an powerful tool in enhancing academic performance, social development and in dealing with and overcoming physical and mental handicaps.   Proverb: Good Food is Good Medicine; versus: Garbage In, Garbage Out.

Additionally, please support increased funding for school lunch programs. Hungry children can not concentrate and learn, resulting in inadequately educated adults who will not be able to make major contributions to the future success and wellbeing of our country in a high tech sustainable economy. Likewise, inadequately educated adults tend to create undereducated children on welfare.

Proverb: The field of the poor may yield much food, but it is swept away by injustice.

Book of Isaiah:
Learn to do good, seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow…and you shall eat the good of the land.

Thank you for all your efforts and support for making our country a more just and fair society as seen in God’s eyes.

Keep our country strong like a rock.

Proverb:

A good person leaves an inheritance to their children’s children.

What kind of inheritance are you leaving?

Blessings to you, your family and friends.

With kindest regards
