So, I've written a ton during the past few weeks because of the requests I took. This is just the first part of those requests - the other half to come very soon.
***
Author: Sydney Redfield Rating: I'm not gonna bother rating them all. They're G all the way up through R. Disclaimer: I own nothing. A/N: Nothing much in the way of spoilers for anything (at least not from my perspective) but if you see some, I apologize in advance. Let me know and I'll add a note ;)

Coyote Ugly : Jersey/Rachel For brucasnaleyfan1 : Right Kind of WrongIt started innocently enough. Rachel gave Jersey a hard time and everyone thought it was because she was the new girl and she was too Barbie Doll for Rachel's liking. The bitchiness somehow (miraculously) turned in to a friendship and now when Rachel threatens Jersey, there's a smirk in her words. There's also a certain tension that neither of them can explain or have even acknowledged. At least publicly.
Rachel kisses her (almost nightly) up on the bar and convinces herself it's all part of the job.
She's wrong.
Jersey writes a song about it, about how she really shouldn't want Rachel but she can't help it, and convinces herself that it's about Kevin.
She's wrong, too.
Funny thing is, the façade all comes tumbling down during something that Rachel bitched about at the beginning. Up on the bar, singing "I Want You To Want Me," Jersey might have been paying a little too much attention Rachel in a way that's not strictly work-related and this time, when Rachel kisses her, it's all sorts of different.
Jersey spends the rest of the night distracted, dropping almost as much as she's pouring and it's almost like her first night week all over again. Lil's giving her a dirty look and Rachel's back to her bitchy self and all Jersey can do is shrug and smile innocently.
Gossip Girl : Blair/Serena For gespawcho : Baby It's Cold Outside"Blair, come on. Please?" Serena whined, practically on her knees as she begged her best friend to join her.
"S, it's cold and snow is wet. You're gonna catch cold out there."
Serena smiled at Blair's concern. "I'll be fine. Come on, you know I think you look cute in your skiing outfit." When Blair rolled her eyes and glared, Serena pouted. "Please?"
"I'm going to get killed. I'd rather just stay in by the fire. You know, where it's warm."
"That's the point of a ski trip, Blair. You come and spend days outside and get cold then warm up by the fire. Come with me for an hour and I promise I'll spend the rest of the day warming you up," Serena said suggestively.
Blair pretended to think about it. "Any way I want?"
Serena nodded.
"Okay," Blair agreed. This was going to be a very fun day.
Gossip Girl : Blair/Serena For sojourn_storm : It's A Hollow Play But They'll Clap AnywayNate had always thought of Blair as his. Not his in the way the he felt like he owned her, but his in the way that he thought one day she'd be Blair Waldorf-Archibald. There was the infatuation with Serena, but he finally realized that he loved party girl Serena but he loved Blair the whole package.
It took him and the rest of the Upper East Side finding out about Blair and Chuck for Nate to see that she was never really his to begin with. That despite the years of dating, despite the fact that she'd finally slept with him, it was clear to him now that she was never his.
No, now it was obvious that Blair was Serena's and when he thinks about it, she probably always has been. Sure, they probably won't end up married (It might be illegal now, but he's certain that by time they'd be ready, it won't be. Either way, he knows Blair well enough to know that she would think "Waldorf-van der Woodsen" would just be too much of a mouthful), but Serena holds a part of Blair that Nate never even got to see.
When he witnesses Serena protect Blair against the brutality of the other girls, sees her stand up for Blair when no one else will even talk to her, sees Blair smile for the first time in weeks because of something Serena says, he wonders exactly how long he's been blind to it all.
Gossip Girl : Blair/Serena For wigbee71583 : Open Your Chest And Take The Heart From It"Can't you just leave it alone, B?" Serena was pacing back and forth in Blair's room. They'd been arguing for nearly an hour about Georgina's sudden appearance but she finally couldn't take it anymore.
"It just seems like more secrets about you are presenting themselves every day! We're supposed to be besties but lately, everyone else is informing me about you."
"Fine," Serena said, coming to a stop inches from the brunette. "You're right. Is that what you want to hear? You don't know everything about me. And maybe part of it was my fault, but you were getting distant long before I skipped town."
"Not wanting to get smashed every night with you and Chuck does not mean I was distant!"
Serena sighed and sat down on the bed. "It's just a lot more complicated than it seems."
"Uncomplicate it," Blair stated, tone clipped.
"Georgina and I...we kind of hooked up while I was at boarding school." Serena started, pausing to catch the look of disgust etched in Blair's features. "See, that is exactly why I never said anything! I didn't think I would see her again, so I just tried to push it away."
Blair, for her part, had no idea what to say. Her thoughts were racing a million miles a minute, but Blair was confused because the only thing she saw was every touch, every stolen glance, every drunken kiss between her and Serena. "Why not me?" She whispered before she could even stop herself.
Gossip Girl : Blair/Serena & Chuck/Nate For spenserk, fujii_itsuki, babydracky, hotpinkxcore, & brucasnaleyfan1 : Better Off As LoversBlair felt good. As tired as she could get of the Upper East Side and it's antics, this was the first time since Serena had returned that things were really like they had been before. Dan had just left Serena for his childhood love and the core four were out having a celebration of sorts. It was somewhat of a toast to old times and best friends, even if the situations were slightly different.
The four of them were pleasantly buzzed as they scrambled into the limo, the boys tumbling in first.
"Anything for a lady," Serena said, holding the door to the limo open and waving Blair in. The brunette giggled and rolled her eyes but climbed in anyway, pulling the blonde in behind her.
"So gallant," Blair whispered as she maneuvered her way into her friend's lap. Chuck smirked at their position and scooted closer.
"Sometimes friends make the best lovers, you know," he said, smiling at Nate who had absconded with Chuck's scarf and now had it wrapped lazily around his neck as he searched the mini bar.
Blair's eyes widened as she looked at Serena and then Chuck. "You mean..."
"Oh please, Blair, like you didn't see it," Serena said as her fingers danced over Blair's smooth skin.
"She's not the only blind one, sister dear," Chuck said with a smile. "I think the two of you aren't seeing what's right in front of you."
"Yeah," Nate said, smiling drunkenly and passing small bottles to the three of them. "Just get over it. Kiss the girl!"
Serena smiled and shrugged at the brunette before leaning in and capturing her lips. Blair's hand moved to tangle in Serena's hair and the blonde smiled against her lips as her hand gently cupped Blair's cheek.
Finally, they broke apart and Chuck held up his bottle in toast.
"To finally figuring out where we should be," he said and the other three joined in on the toast.
As she tipped back her bottle, Blair thought maybe this should be awkward. She was drunk in a limo, making out with her best friend in front of two ex-boyfriends. Ex-boyfriends that were apparently now sleeping together. Not to mention Serena was sort of related to one and had slept with the other.
Only on the Upper East Side, Blair thought. Gossip Girl is going to get a kick out of this.
Gossip Girl : Blair/Serena & Chuck/Nate For wands_by_day : Cursed With A Love You Can't ExpressChuck was always an ass. From elementary school, when he poured blue paint in Blair's hair to junior high when he snuck in the girls' locker room and stole their clothes during PE. High school had done nothing but increase his attitude and cockiness, but now that Serena was forced to live with him, she was going to try and make the best of it.
She was surprised when their friendship quickly moved to a place to where she really felt like they might be able to trust each other. Sure, Chuck was his same smarmy self, but she just brushed it off with a roll of her eyes. What surprised her even more was his (shockingly sober) admission of his feelings for Nate.
He mentions something he's never told anyone before and swears her to secrecy when he speaks of it; something Serena feels strangely compelled to keep. It was a night Nate was too drunk to remember, which seemed all too familiar to Serena. At first, Chuck talks of the flirtatious banter that she was all too familiar with, but then he smiles, telling her how Nate kissed him, said he needed him. Said he loved him and maybe it's a little more than she wanted to hear, but Serena sympathizes with the disappointment in Chuck's voice when he says Nate couldn't even remember.
She doesn't say anything because somehow she knows he's aware of just how much she can relate. Instead, she just rests her head on his shoulder, takes his hand and squeezes. Being in love with your best friend is hard, especially when there's nothing you can do about it.
Gossip Girl : Chuck/Nate For disintrist : Changes In Latitudes, Changes In AttitudesIt's the first Christmas you've spent away from home, but Chuck throws his arm around you and snaps a picture and you feel more at home than in New York.
Monaco is a nice change of pace with its sunshine and sandy beaches and for once, you don't have to think of girls or your drug addicted dad or your naïve mother. In fact, the only thing you have to think about the involves New York is Chuck, and here on the beach inside a tiki hut, he's less New York Chuck and more like a brand new friend. Changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes you think with a smile as he toasts you with a fruity drink and plays with a little umbrella and a huge slice of pineapple. Your smile gets bigger because New York Chuck would never drink anything but the finest scotch or gin. Maybe some champagne, but he'd never sip daiquiris and play with colorful umbrellas.
When you feel the pang of jealousy as he smiles at someone across the bar, you wonder if it's all the alcohol or if there's a New York and Monaco Nate, too. New York Nate would never be jealous of a nameless, faceless blonde, especially not just because said blonde was the object of Chuck attention. But you feel it; feel the twisting in your gut and the knot forming in your throat so you can barely breathe, so you know there must be two of you, also.
You don't give it much thought at first - the differences in the two of you when you're away from New York - you just mentally point out things that are different. But when Chuck pushes you against the wall and kisses you when you come out of the shower that night, you decide it really means something. He's a lot more sober than you thought, so really, the difference has to mean something.
Doesn't it?
Gossip Girl : Chuck/Nate For shiplessheathen : Everyone's So Intimately Rearranged"Sleeping with Blair was never actually about Blair."
"Then what exactly was it?" Nate demands and Chuck's pretty sure he's never seen him that mad.
Chuck hesitates in a way he's never done before - he's usually the one to say the first thing that comes to his mind. This, though, this could make or break them, him and Nate, and he's not sure if he's ready for that. Not that the whole thing with Blair hasn't put a divide between them, but there are bridges big enough to cover that space.
"What did I tell you I care about? What three things mean most to me in life?"
Nate pauses, thinks, and Chuck's glad for the break as it works perfectly to diffuse Nate's tempter.
"Money, the pleasures money brings, and me," he finally answers.
"Yes. You, Nathaniel. I care about you." Chuck can't bring himself to say 'love,' because really it's just a word and a feeling that ruins things and he can't ruin this anymore. "I care about you. Always have, always will."
The silence that follows puts Chuck on edge and he wonders how he went from being unbreakable to this but he knows it's because of Nate, so he waits, hopes (and maybe prays a little) that the boy in front of him can understand what exactly he means with his words.
It doesn't take long and before Chuck can process or react, he's being toppled backwards into his bed, Nate's lips on his own.
House : Cameron/Thirteen For alexriley & bitta2sweet : Dizzying Highs Don't Subside Over NightIt's late; Cameron's worked over for the third time that week and really, she just wants to go home. But that's happens in the ER. At least she's got a few minutes left on break. Just as Cameron pitches her half empty cup of coffee in the trash on the way to the door, Thirteen walks in. She doesn't speak, just smiles as she walks past the blonde. Cameron smiles back and opens her mouth as if to speak, but she's not sure what to say so she says nothing and heads to the ER.
Later, Cameron decides that her attraction to Thirteen is inexplicable at best. Not because she's a girl, even though the last time she felt something even close to this, it was with House and he's most definitely male, but because of how she reacts to her. Thirteen, someone she doesn't know much about - save for tidbits of information she's gleaned from their minimal conversation along with what she's heard from House, Chase, and Foreman - can make her feel absolutely giddy through a smile across the room or a simple smirk. Plus, she's got eyes even more captivating than House's.
She's a doctor, for god's sake, a teenage boy-esque crush should not be happening to her.
She wonders if she could talk to anyone about this, but quickly determines it's either Foreman or no one. House will mock her, tell everyone, or ask to join in. Maybe all three. Chase...well, there's history there and it'd be weird. Plus, he's your typical guy and would probably end up more turned on than helpful. Well, there's also Cuddy, but...no. She laughs as her brain shuts down that idea before it fully forms.
Foreman would at least think objectively, but she's not sure if she could trust his hormones not to at least partially take over. And anyway, what's she supposed to say, "I don't really know her, but she looks at me...and I don't know what to do?" Yeah, that will seem really mature.
Maybe she should just talk to Thirteen. After all, House did mention something about "both ways." She laughs at this idea, too, but it's not so much the part about talking to Thirteen, it's the fact that she's giving House's gossip any credit. She's going to have to talk to Cuddy - these long nights are really getting to her.
Imagine Me & You : Luce/Rachel For gsr_rocks, keinlurker, & lena_fan : I Lay Before You Like Unclaimed LandShe'd set her resolve long before walked into the shoppe, but if she was really honest with herself, she had never expected it to last. She knew seeing Luce wasn't going to allow it to stay in place, but yet she went anyway. She knew she couldn't do it over the phone, which was weird, because it wasn't like they were breaking up. She just needed to see her.
And now, she was seeing her. Seeing her and kissing her. Kissing her and finally feeling those things that she thought were only made up for cheesy romance novels. If ever there were a point of no return when it came to her feelings for Luce, Rachel was pretty sure it was only a speck in the rearview, if she could even see it at all anymore.
As Luce slipped her cold hands underneath Rachel's jacket and sweater, the blonde gasped but arched into the touch and she realized things were moving entirely to fast, but she couldn't help it. She just wanted to touch.
She didn't want their first time to be in the back of Flowered Up on top of a bed of cardboard and flowers, but her fingers apparently had a mind of their own as they slipped under one of Luce's shirts and stripped it off.
"You wear entirely too many layers," Rachel said, laughing breathlessly. Luce simply smiled and pulled the blonde into another kiss, moving her hands to just brush the underside of Rachel's breasts.
The bells for the front door chimed and Rachel groaned in frustration despite the fact that it was a perfect opportunity to slow everything down.
"Shite," Luce whispered, pulling back and resting her forehead against Rachel's. She took a few deep breaths and then called out, "I'll be right there!"
The L Word : Jenny/Shane For wigbee71583 : You Turned My Words To StoneIt's not as easy as everyone thinks. Everyone - Bette, Tina, Alice, Kit, Max and even fucking random people at The Planet whose names she can't recall (if she ever knew them to begin with) - is begging her to just forgive Shane. You were broken up they say. You guys are best friends. You'll get past it.
That's just the thing, though. No one gets why it's so hard, why she can't just say, "It's okay, Shane. We're still friends." Why she can't be okay. It's not Niki. No. Fuck Niki. (She snorts back a laugh when she realizes that's the reason she even feels like this. Why she's thinking this.) No, this is all Shane.
No one knows the reason she can't just say it is because she's not in love with Niki. She's in love with Shane. Somehow, she thinks she may have been from the start.
One Tree Hill : Brooke/Rachel For pocabomba : Know You For What You Are"You're so pretty," she whispers against salty sweet skin, into the auburn hair tickling her nose.
She's drunk. Not in that "going to be puking my guts out" kind of way, but more in the way where she feels happy and light and bubbly. It's her 21st birthday. Well it was, she realizes as she looks at her watch and notes that her official birthday has been over for three hours.
She pushes away from the warm body, kicks off her heels and spins, barefoot, on her hardwood floors. She notices the redhead smiling at her, so she grabs her by the wrist and twirls her around, too, before they collapse in a fit of giggles on the rug that's right in the middle of the not quite furnished area that she calls the living room.
She laughs louder when she thinks about where she is, who she is. She is Brooke Davis: owner, designer, and CEO of clothes over bros, international clothing line. She is on the floor of her penthouse apartment in the East Village. This is her second home, mind you. Party crash pad, if you will. Her real home overlooks Central Park.
She is 21 years old and she's pretty sure life couldn't get much better.
Except, maybe it does, because somehow in the fall, she's landed completely on top of the girl, almost but not quite perfectly straddling her hips. Their eyes lock and it's all heavy breathing and hearts racing for just a moment. Brooke's never done the gay thing before, not even with Peyton though everyone thinks so, but she doesn't hesitate to crash her mouth against the girl's, teeth clicking and tongues dueling for dominance. In the back of her mind, she wonders how long this moment has been lying in wait.
They kiss for what seems like forever and Brooke's unsure if the buzz she's feeling how is alcohol or kisses.
"Rachel," she gasps as she leans back to catch her breath, giving the girl just enough leverage to flip them over.
Oh yeah, life just got a whole lot better.
One Tree Hill : Haley/Mia For hevvajames : Lately You Make MeFrom the first time they met, Haley felt some sort of attraction to Mia that she couldn't explain. At first she passed it off as a friends thing because Mia was like this weird combination of Brooke, Peyton, and herself all wrapped up in one person. It didn't take long for her to realize the attraction was something more but she tried to push it out of her mind because there was Nathan and Jamie and damn if she didn't already have enough problems on the home front.
The problem with that, though, was being around Mia made her forget about all the problems in her life like an alcoholic husband temporarily in a wheelchair and having a class full of arrogant high schoolers. She tried to tell herself it was jealousy because she'd been in Mia's shoes and she missed music but honestly, she just liked Mia and it was getting increasingly harder to make her self stop thinking about it.
On the last night of recording, they sat behind the mixing board reviewing masters and messing with distortions and levels just to make each other laugh and Haley couldn't remember the last time she'd really laughed.
"Thank you. So much," Mia said, getting serious again. "If it weren't for you and Peyton..."
"I had a lot of fun."
"Good," Mia said and leaned over tentatively, placing a kiss at the corner of Haley's mouth. The older woman was surprised, but reacted instantly, slipping her hand behind Mia's neck and pulling her closer.
Memories from when she recorded with Chris flashed in her mind, but she couldn't bring herself to care about the consequences.
"I'm sorry," Mia said, pulling away. "I know you're married and all but I've been thinking about that for awhile now."
Haley smiled. "Me too."
One Tree Hill : Mia/Peyton For hevvajames : She's Here To Waste TimePeyton looked up from her desk as she heard the door to her office open. She smiled when she saw the brunette but glanced at the clock, noting the hour.
"You're out late," she said, not so much accusing, but stating the facts.
"Late night in the studio," Mia said before falling backwards over the arm of the couch dramatically. "Could say the same for you."
Peyton shrugged. "Brooke's out with Owen so I figured I'd rather be here than home."
"Don't want to be alone?" Mia asked, throwing her arm across her face in an attempt to block out what little bit of light was coming from the two lamps near Peyton's desk.
"Something like that." Peyton walked over to the couch and picked up Mia's feet to make room to sit down. "Move it," she said, but Mia just let her feet fall back down where they had been, only now they were resting in Peyton's lap.
Peyton glared, which made Mia grin. "Aww, come on Sawyer. That's no way to treat your soon to be star artist!"
Peyton couldn't help but laugh. "You're lucky you're so damn cute or I'd be wondering if Jason was rubbing off on you."
Mia moved to prop herself up on her elbows. "You think I'm cute?"
Peyton shrugged again, keeping her eyes down as she fiddled with the frayed edges of Mia's jeans. "I mean, yeah. Of course."
What Peyton didn't say was she thought she was more than that and really, she had to keep her hands busy just to keep from reaching out and touching her. Kissing her. But this was a business relationship and Mia wasn't gay, right? Well, for that matter, neither was she. Except maybe when it came to brunettes with quirky, fun attitudes.
"Hmmm," Mia said, moving to sit up completely and taking her legs from Peyton's lap. Without warning, she leaned over and pressed her lips to Peyton.
They kissed for a brief moment until the blonde pulled back. "I..."
"I think you're cute, too," Mia said, laughing at Peyton's bewildered expression.
"But you're not...and I'm technically your boss."
"I am. And technically, why does it matter?" With that question, Mia moved so she was straddling Peyton.
Peyton, discovering she didn't really have an answer for why it mattered, leaned up and captured Mia's lips. Maybe late nights weren't so bad after all.
/>Sarah Connor Chronicles : Cameron/Sarah For keinlurker : The Speed At Which We Move Blends So WellSarah jerked awake when she heard the front door open. She sat up, heart pounding and her hand grazed the cold metal of the 9mm under her pillow as she listened. After a brief silence, she heard the familiar sounds of Cameron's footfalls and released the weapon before making her way to the living room to greet the girl.
"How was prom?" She questioned just as Cameron stepped into her bedroom, causing her to turn around. Sarah let her gaze sweep over her form just as she had before Cameron left.
"It is an odd tradition that I do not wish to partake in again."
Sarah smirked as she moved into the girl's room. "I felt the same way after my first high school dance. So you didn't have fun?"
"I did get to dance," Cameron replied, eyes sparkling with excitement.
Sarah nodded. "Where are the boys?" She questioned as she stepped closer to the terminator.
"Derek took John and Morris to an after-party."
"Mmm-hmm and you're here because?" Sarah asked, running her fingers along Cameron's collarbone and down her arm.
"Derek does not appreciate my company and I did not wish to have intercourse after the dance."
"No?" Sarah questioned with a quirked eyebrow, lips hovering just inches from Cameron's.
"Not with my prom date," she replied, finally closing the gap between them.
She's The Man : Olivia/Viola For l_amero and sapphire_magick : Don't Get Me WrongViola readjusted her wig and knocked on the door in front of her. Olivia was so going to kill her.
The blonde in question opened the door and stared at her, unmoving. "...I thought I was getting Sebastian for the night," she finally said.
"Sebastian's a bit busy tonight... but I'm here." Viola smiled her trademark smile, trying to ignore Olivia's glare as she walked in the room.
"Viola..."
She pulled the wig off and slipped off her brother's oversized jacket. "Look, I'm sorry my brother's an ass. But I didn't want you to be alone and mad 'cause he ditched you so...I just thought I could make you laugh."
Olivia smiled. "I'm not mad at you. Though, you are gonna have to get over this 'pretending to be Sebastian' thing or I'm gonna think you're after me or something."
"What if I am?" Viola questioned before she could stop herself. Her eyes went wide as she silently cursed herself for getting think/speak out of order for the umpteenth time.
The silence stretched on for what seemed like forever and the room was slowly beginning to feel like all of the air had been sucked out of it, making Viola nervous and fidgety.
"I'm sorry. Look, I'll just..." Viola started as she headed for the door. When she brushed past Olivia, delicate fingers wrapped around her wrist.
"Don't."
Viola turned, staring at Olivia's confused look. "I..."
"Don't," Olivia whispered again before leaning in and finally brushing her lips over Viola's. |
