I went to the dentist for the first time in years. He fixed 3 of my teeth, making them less of an eyesore. For this process he used drugs that knocked me completely unconcious. I remembered going into the office and waking up at home.
Datline: Yesterday
I went back to the dentist, having waited for the 'caps' to come in. It is at this point I learn that A>I apparently slept on the couch last time after my dental work so my mom could get work done. I was at the dentist for an additional hour, who knows what else went on. B> My mom basically carried me to the house. C> While under sedation I squirmed and rolled and kicked the dentist in the head, as well as being very difficult to work on.
Due to action "c" the doctor decided to sedate me heaviy but not knock me unconcious. He placed a blindfold on me, and headphones on my head playing boring music.
I felt nothing, though i could vaguely hear him speaking. I got really hot at one point. It was alot more uncomofortable for me, but it was easier for him to work on, so guess who wins. The 'isolation' was a little scary in a few spots, and I started overheated at one point. Through various hand singnals and trying desperately to get the damn blanket off my body, they figured out what was wrong.
After awhile, he added some more sedatives. It seems that my squirmeness operates in direct proportion to my sedation level. The more 'sedate' I become, the squirmer I get. Every time he tried to put me further under, I got all fidgety. This also explains why it took three hours to sedate me for my surgery last year. I'm a mutant! |
