I'd like to take this opportunity to announce my retirement from drinking.

I had a little too much fun at last night's Science Center gala. It was an impressive event, and I wish Channel 9 did more youth-oriented things like it.

The whole Science Center was like a playground for adults. They had exhibits and demonstrations going on throughout the night, a really dangerous open bar, an eco-friendly fashion show, and yes--a chocolate fountain. Plus I love an excuse to dress up these days.

I'm impatiently awaiting the St. Paul trip. I'll be gone for four days working with Minnesota Public Radio and editors from The Beacon, most excitedly Margaret Wolf Freivogel.

I was supposed to go back to the Science Center for a paranormal science presentation tonight, but I don't have my car nor can I keep anything in my system so I'll have to entertain myself at home. Damn it.
