THE RABBLE SIGN TO CRUSADE RECORDS: Crusade Records is excited to announce the signing of New Zealand’s The Rabble. Formed by brothers Rupe and Chazz in the summer of 2001, The Rabble’s sound has been described by indie press as, "the band's own and it's a formidable, tumultuous, pulsating punk rock beat that's as addictive as it is enjoyable! " The Auckland-based three-piece band – completed by bassist and backing vocalist Jamie Rabble - are set to release the first single “Seeking” from their latest album “The Battle’s Almost Over” on iTunes on November 29. The album is due out February 2009 on Crusade Records. Adopting the D.I.Y. spirit that is punk rock with a hard work ethic, The Rabble have built both a growing local and international fan base through putting out their own CD’s, playing hundreds of live shows including dates with bands such as Alexisonfire, Sick Of It All and Comeback Kid as well as appearing at major music festivals including the Big Day Out and the Taste Of Chaos . “The Battle’s Almost Over” was mixed in the US by Jim Siegel (Dropkick Murphy’s) and contains 16 tracks of well thought out, heart-felt anthems including, “Seeking, ” “Start Again” and “This World Is Dead,” featuring Mark Unseen of US punk heavy weights The Unseen. Currently on tour in the UK and Europe until December, The Rabble will hit the road extensively throughout 2009 in support of their latest album with dates to be announced in the coming months. “Seeking” is available online now at www.myspace.com/therabble
