Journal Description:

The journal IRAN presents articles on the whole spectrum of Persian Studies, including articles on Persian arts, archaeology, history, literature, linguistics, religion and philosophy. This includes but is not limited to work sponsored by the Institute.

There are also sections on recent archaeological research and shorter notices. The journal publishes articles in English, French and German and ranging in time from the Palaeolithic up to the Qajar Period. As one of the foremost journals in the field, IRAN is sold and distributed to a wide range of libraries, institutions and individuals throughout the world.
