I've read a lot of con stuff recently, from various people in throughout various LJ communities...

It made me start thinking of my favorite moments at cons I've been to o_O

Cosplay: Chrno from Chrono Crusade...

My friends and I did Chrono Crusade - I as Chrono, HikariSasashi as Rosette and my other friend as Joshua (a dark haired Joshua =x;)... we were sitting off to the side in the back, in the dealers room to catch a break - the gym doors were open and there were some empty seats, so why not. I-con isn't super formal. We're talking and suddenly I hear in the distance "ccchhhrrrrroooooNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" get louder and louder... I turned, realizing someone was calling my character, just in time to be run into, almost falling, and literally GLOMPED by a seriously excited CC fan x.x;; While that was really really sudden... it was freaking hilarious when I looked back at it later... LOL

Cosplay: Luke fon Fabre from Tales of the Abyss (yes, I'm trying to look bratty, just like lil' Lukey-poo~ ...... >__>; *attempt at being sarcastic towards the character and not doing a good job of it*)

My friends and I were coming from a panel we had led (one of the 3 we had to teach alone, that weekend o_O Though one was only led by one of us - I'm no DB expert so I couldn't help...) and walking up the steps to the student center/gym (I always get lost, even though I've been going to this place almost 10+ years -_- I NEVER KNOW WHERE THE HELL I AM! X_x;) to go to the dealer's room when a dude stops me as he goes passed and goes,
Dude: "WHEEEEW YEAH! LUKE! *holds up hand for high 5*"
Me: " .....uh... *wierd look* *High....5?*
Dude: "YEAH!"
Me: "*loudly* ABOUT TIME SOMEONE RECOGNIZED ME IN THIS PLACE! D=<"

It's just something loud and arrogant the long haired Luke would say >_> Not the short haired Luke.... I wish I could have done the short haired Luke, but with my hair....I dont' think I can shove it under a wig.... ._.;
(For those that don't know the difference.... the long haired Luke and short haired Luke is the same person, he just decided he needed to change himself and his ways when things went way out of control)

Cosplay: Ragnarok Priestess

Oke, see that long slit up the side, on the dress? It was windy that day. My friends and I were walking to the parking lot from the Student Center and a heavy gust of wind blew up the dress. Perfect. Marilyn Monroe pose. evar. >_>; *dies* z_z; I even did the "EEK! *cover*" pose without thinking. I guess advertisement does have the power of suggestion. I was a graphic design major still in college at the time, so I'm sure I've seen it in context somewhere (art history/etc) besides just living.

Cosplay: Anji-Mito from Guilty Gear (Guilty Gear X2 version)

We adopted a Sol Badguy =x lol... and I got a ride on said Sol's shoulders looking for our Ky Kiske and Johnny...
And then the random Yaaaooiii *Haunts a particular person in harrassment* >; x
hmm... and I got a lot of photos taken o.o (*photo attention wh0re* >.>;;) It was probably because the outfit had very little on, but oh well -_- *annoyed* I don't think half of them knew what I was cosplaying... oh well. The original character is male and topless.... as much as I like being exact to character and try to stay in character a bit... I'm female. I'm not going to be THAT exact...............

Cosplay: Luke fon Fabre from Tales of the Abyss (diff pic this time >.>)

I'd have to say that was my crossing point from anime cosplay only, towards making a fursuit. Let us thank that set of tail and ears and the really nice ladies selling them ^^;; I wish I could of let her put them on me after I gave her the money and she asked, but I was in a rush ._.; I didn't want to leave everyone waiting outside in the heat) We ran back to the hotel to unload the dealers room stuff and we had 15 mins till the 'Tales Of'photoshoot and I really wanted to try on the tail and ears... I put the ears on blindly, but looking in the mirror, the positioning made me look like I was sad or pouting, from the front... so I remembered Tamaki Souo from Ouran High School Host Club and his oh so favorite "in the corner" pose and was a "Wolf-Luke doing a Tamaki impression..." >_>;

After that we were waiting for the Tales of (all the Tales of games, not just Abyss) photoshoot to begin, another Luke cosplayer sat with my friends and I while waiting. Here is where I worry. LOL... I'm just hoping I didn't freak her out, or something >.>; Or thought I was ruffianish...
I was bore, and when I get bored with those two particular friends, I tend to harrass them - they know I'm not being mean. I started pulling on HikariSasashi's dress (She was cosplaying Fruits Basket that day) and going "Mooommeeeeeh, are we therrreee yeeeeet? D=" (in other words, "is it time yet") and stuff. I turn to John, who was Vash the Stampede, and start picking a play fight with him...lol... I stand up and start going "what, what, you wanna fight? C'mon boy, I take you, I take you! C'mon big man! >=O" etc. He stands up and I'm like, "and?? AND?? >=O"

Side note. I'm 5'0". He is 6'2" or some 6-something. I'm pretty sure that must have been funny to see.... it was hilarious on my side, anyway...

Oh well. I still hope I didn't scare the poor girl >.>; She went quiet and poofed afterwards... I don't do that to random people or people that don't know me well >_>; oh well... was bored x.x;
