Woo, long time no post... I don't know how people who post daily manage to do it!

I've managed to get my memory programmer prototyped, and then soldered up nicely onto a stripboard, you can see the page about it here:

http://www.zipplet.co.uk/index.php/content/electronics_memorybrick

It's a universal programmer that I need before I can open the door to other projects such as a homebrew Z80 computer, homebrew NES cartridge etc. And how else am I going to get data into those pesky serial EEPROMs? Well PICkit 2 can do that last thing I suppose ;). Once my programmer is finished (software + firmware not finished yet) I'll release everything to allow others to build one.

The past few weeks have been good, time spent at work, time spent with my beautiful girlfriend Louise, and working on electronics/socialising. Not much to say really, other than that work has been annoying me as per usual >_<

I've also picked up my big LED signboard project and decided to finish that off, so I can have a HUGE clock on my wall also showing other information such as temperature, status of downloads/internet connection and so on... geeky I know but it's fun and why not. The design ofcourse will be made available to others to make their own.

Until next time!
