So... the vending machines at the U (or at least the one at the Union next to the ping-pong table) now charge $1.25 for a soda. What the hell? How can you change the price from a $1.00? That's like charging $1.70+ for a 15 oz. Minute Maid juice... oh wait... the U does that too.
I put my dollar in to get a soda. But when I pushed the buttons A8, it beeped to let me know that I hadn't put in enough money. Bullshit. So I hit the other button, to get my money back. Instead of the dollar bill, it gave me quarters back. 5 of them! Soda was mine anyways! :) Take that, bastards. If it was someone else's quarter, I would probably have returned it. But since it belongs to the idiots that overcharge for books and food and raise tuition by 10% an year, that wasn't a viable option. So I got my cherry coke.
On the plus side... We went bowling yesterday (me, Chen, Tim and Doug). And then all of us (except Tim) played some-ping pong too. I broke 100 in the bowling. That hasn't happened in a while. I think I finished with like a 111. Doug had 120+. Chen had 105 or something. Tim had like 90. I beat Chen! (Last time, I finished last... barely breaking 60, if even that). I, of course, expected a better score. I had been practicing randomly... on a Wii... at a family friend's house... twice in the past 3 weeks. Go me! (Actually... that well represents my bowling skills... I know from the 3 years of Wasatch Junior High School PE classes and the bowling class I took 2nd semester of "freshman" year).
And today? A physics test. Fuck. |
