ENGLISH : This livejournal is not only aim at showing my creations, I would also like to make you share my tastes, to announce you my criticisms on certain things whether it is on films or on music. Today, I am going to present you two Chinese artists. The first one is called Jolin Tsai, I am interested in her for a little more than year, it is a very recognized singer in China. The other one is Zhang Li Yin, an artist I've discovered some days ago, and who has an exceptional voice, it is a new singer ^^ Here we are, if that interests you...

Biography in french

Zhang Li Yin was born on 18 February 1989 in Sichuan, China. She grew up in a musical family, as both of her parents were professional violinists. As a child, her parents took her to their rock concerts and exposed her to a variety of music. At 3 years old, she began to learn the violin. Li Yin liked classical, American and European music so much that she says she never sang children's songs when she was a child. As she grew older, Li Yin became more into pop music than rock music. She had to secretly listen to pop music because her parents were against it. When she was 12, she was accepted into a middle school founded by the Sichuan Music College after scoring the highest with her violin-playing, but she chose to become a singer instead. She was selected as one of the top-ten teenage singers in a national singing competition in Beijing. Eventually, her parents began to support her dream to become a singer.

Biography in french
Though Jolin Tsai was introverted and shy as a child, her mother realized early on that she was of scholarly material, so her mother brought her to attend Japanese-style mathematics lessons, which she completed more rapidly than anyone expected she would. During her primary school years, she constantly scored 100 points and ranked top three of her class. There was only once she failed to rank in the top three of her class and was placed tenth. Eventually, her scholastic abilities enabled her to enroll at Jingmei Girls' High School and later, Fu Jen Catholic University. Tsai devoted her youth to studying the English language, self-studying English in her primary school years. She eventually majored in English Literature at Fu Jen Catholic University, a Taiwanese university that is popular for its English culture. Fu Jen Catholic University is regarded for its Department of English Language and Literature and includes in its ranks of alumni a number of Taiwanese entertainers.During her childhood years, Tsai developed an interest in singing and experimented with different vocal techniques after listening to the songs of popular female divas such as Teresa Teng and Faye Wong.
