Well, I'm doing better.

I spent most of the weekend in bed, doubled over in a pain that was sharp like razors, making its way through my intestines and not stopping until today when I left work early to go to my chiropractor who adjusted it and it went away immediately.

I barely ate - I had about two pieces of brocolli and a piece of roast Saturday night, and yesterday all I could manage was a small piece of chicken and a few bits of lettuce. I didn't want to eat, and I physically couldn't.

/>I slept nearly all day Saturday, only getting up for more than fifteen minutes at seven in the evening. Then I was back asleep by one and, again, I slept in late.

At least there was no more vomiting.


Things are still hard around here. I'll walk in the house and expect to hear the little jingle of her collar; go from one room to another and expect to see her laying on the bed, watching the door; I look over in the living room where her bed used to lay and cry. The house is just so empty.
