My grandpa had a heart attack last night and is going in for a stint (?) tomorrow afternoon.  Mom wants to go and visit him in dartmouth, but neither my sister or me can afford to take the time off work, or afford the travel costs.  Sis says that he should be ok because if it was life and death, they wouldn't be waiting to do the surgery.  Mom is in hysterics.  I am reminded of my callous attitude towards my grandpa last time I saw him and now feel like shit.
