Guys. I want you to take a second and imagine this.
You walk into school one morning, and people don't make eye contact. Not too big a deal, not really out of the ordinary. You don't notice anything odd about it.
Then, the teacher doesn't seem to hear you, and people start trashing the work you shared the day before, like you're not even there.
You get pissed. You're like, "Is this a game? Are you guys trying to be funny? HELLO? HELLO!?" No one even shows that they hear you.
You go to the principal's office to call your mom, freaking out the whole time. Then, the principal walks in - and the phone rings, and suddenly you're not holding it anymore. It's your mom, asking the principal if you're there. You're standing right in front of the principal, and he says, "Well, I'm sure they're in class right now, hold on, I'll find them..."
You try to talk into the phone, and no one hears you.
You run home, and, running into the house, are shouting, "Hello? Hello!?"
You hear, "Hello?" and say, "Oh thank God..." And then someone comes in to view, a cop with a walki-talki, giving a description that fits you, as a possible missing person.
This? This is why I will always classify The Invisible as a horror movie. That scares the crap out of me, and my heart seriously broke at the look on Nick's face when UnNamed FemCop walks up the stairs saying, "Yeah, that's better - I said 18-year-old white male, possible missing person's case..."
