::After taking the Mandalorian outpost they had quickly set up an encampment within it's walls. Preparing to set out in a few missions to rid Rathalay of the Mandalorians left on planet. The outpost they attacked was the largest force according to the Republic so Rhys was not too worried about completing this mission with positive results. Returning from a patrol with Rojas he quickly excused himself and rushed over to Kirei's personal tent with the hopes she wasn't too busy. Knocking on the door he called out with a grin:: Lieutenant Maranai? You in there?

::Kirei had just finished up most of her work, sitting back in her chair and trying to relax for a moment. Hearing Rhys' voice she turned towards the door with a grin:: If it isn't my favorite Jedi Knight! ::She called out as she got up, opening the door with that same grin:: What's with the formalities?

Well it is a military installation is it not? And I just arrived back from helping Rojas lead a patrol...all clear so far. ::He smirked after she opened the door and nodded:: Hey, Kirei.

Hiya. ::She leaned her head against the door, moving out of the way and gesturing her hand to her room so he could step inside::

::Stepping inside with a smile, he glanced around the tent with a nod:: Hey..this one is much larger then last time. Not bad.. ::Soon turning around to face her again:: I'm not here at a bad time or anything?

Actually you showed up just as the right time, I just finished up all my responsibilities for the day... ::Closing the door and moving closer to him, she smirked:: .. At least my professional ones.

Well lucky, lucky me then. ::He smirked once again as she moved closer to him, extending his arms out to pull her towards him as he sounded excited as he spoke:: Can I say it? Can I say it? I know I must have said it a billion times already but I can't get enough..

::She giggled, jokingly trying to pull away as he pressed her with questions:: You are such a loser! Why would you think you'd need my permission!?

::Laughing he shook his head trying to keep her there as she tried to pull away::Because I don't want look like I'm overdoing it! But I love you, Kirei. ::He said with a happy sigh following it:: I love you. I love.. you.

I love you too, Rhys.. ::She said with a smile as she stopped trying to move away from him, looking into his eyes as she did and moving closer to kiss him on the lips softly::

::As much as he loved saying it, hearing it back from her was even better. Tilting his head a bit as she moved closer and kissed him, he slipped his arms around her and returned her kiss. Breaking it after some time he took a quick breath as he kept their eyes locked to each other:: I...I'm so happy you feel the same. I still can't believe it.

It still feels a little weird to say, to be honest... ::She looked a little embarrassed to admit as she moved her arms around him as well now:: But I'm just, so... happy things turned out like this. I can't believe it, either.

::He smiled and glanced down a bit and nodded a few times: It's the greatest thing to ever happen to me..I'm serious, Kirei. You are. I know how..well I know you weren't expecting this but I plan to do everything and anything to make you happy.

You say it like I think this is a bad thing or something! ::She said with a smirk, kissing him again and shaking her head:: It's just that... y'know, I'm just kind of.. surprised at how strongly I feel about you. I mean from day one... I went from not wanting to be in a relationship for years to... ::She laughed as she recalled it, looking embarrassed again and looking away from him:: Lying to you about being married to Daven to see how you'd react..

From day one.. ::He said to himself and smiled again and nodded at what she said before laughing and shaking his head:: Yeah..I...uh..well I really didn't seem to take that well. You see I was crazy about you from first sight and just had to know.

I saw the look on your face.. ::She looked back up at him with a grin now:: You looked devastated.

I was. ::He grinned and nodded quickly:: I wasn't even sure what the feeling was but all I knew was it hurt...having no chance was hard to accept.

So you wanted to be with me right away, huh? Now... were you really hoping to fall in love with me, or did you just want to be with me? ::She pulled him closer to her, smirking in a way that Rhys would have been sure to recognize in order to determine what she meant::

Truthfully? ::He smirked after she pulled him closer, he held her a bit tighter:: I wasn't sure what the I was going to do if I even got you..but you were so beautiful. I think you had a good idea of my first...intentions.

Maybe I did... But I don't know, I didn't think it was ever coming to come this far. I thought at the end of the war you'd want to explore the galaxy.. go experience new things, be with other women. ::She blushed a little:: That's why I was so afraid when I said I loved you... I thought it wasn't what you wanted.

Kirei..it didn't take me long before I knew you were exactly what I wanted. ::He smiled once again:: I've seen much of what the galaxy has to offer already, being in this war I experienced more then I ever expected..and being with a woman that I love as much as you is all I want. Our lives together..when we make it through this is all I can think of now.

::She smiled wide at that, just looking into his eyes for a few seconds before she sighed happily and kissed him on the lips softly:: How did I ever find you..? You're too sweet for your own good.

::Returning her kiss and following quickly with his own he grinned and shrugged slightly:: Just got lucky I guess...there aren't many guys like me. Yet I know there's not another woman in the galaxy like you...so that makes us both pretty special.

Seems so, huh? I love you, Rhys... ::She smiled before kissing him again and holding it this time around, moving one of her hands to the side of his face as she kissed him passionately::

::Reaching up he placed his hand over hers as she kissed him, the kiss becoming deeper and deeper as the moments passed. As their lips finally parted he kept his forehead on hers, staying close as his lips brushed up against hers as he spoke, a smirk forming now:: You know I tore down that door just to impress you...I was hoping it worked..did it?

::Giggling softly at that she nodded as best she could with how close they still were:: Yes, yes... I was very impressed. When I saw it I just stood there in shock and told Rojas how much I love you.

::He laughed once again, kissing her softly for a moment before speaking again:: The engineers weren't too happy because they needed to replace the door but I was in a rush and getting shot at..so....I played it up a bit.

Ah, it was worth it to impress me, right? ::She laughed again as well, returning his kiss with one of her own::

Oh for sure. You said I was amazing...that was worth hearing. ::He smiled once again, pulling back just a bit:: That's just the start, we're in good spirits thanks to you. I have much planned to keep you impressed.

Oh, I'm looking forward to being impressed by each and every one.. Now you can even start boasting about them, too. ::She said with a smirk::

That's right! I have your permission now! ::He laughed lightly, sliding his arms down to her waist he motioned to the bed with a quick grin:: Let's see if I can deliver some of what I promised..on...and off the battlefield.

You plan to impress me here, too? Ooo.. good luck with that, Nihils. ::She flashed a grin as well before kissing him again, moving her arms around his neck again as she started pulling him towards the bed with her as she walked backwards::

I can try my hardest I'll tell you that much.. ::He smirked and returned her kiss, following her towards the bed and pulled her down on it, pinning her for a second before lowering his head and kissing her deeply once again::
