I'm really excited because this Wednesday I have an interview with Jane also better known as the Cakelulu from MJO. This will have been the second person I've interviewed. My attempts at interviewing Andrew Cook failed - miserably. I wonder if Andy Skib wouldn't mind. My work isn't going to published in print (as yet) but just up on the Newsvine and I'm okay with that. One of these days...
After watching Ben's "Three To See" segment on "At The Movies" and reading his blog this past week, I decided to not only watch the trailer for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button but to pick up the classic short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald from my cheesy library. After forty five minutes of reading, I really liked it. It's not going to be like the movie starring one of my new best friends (I'll get to that in a minute) but it's rather a skeleton for the screenplay directed by John Fincher. He's the guy behind such awesome films as "Zodiac" and "Seven" ("what's in the box? what's in the BOX??") and "Fight Club". Oh and "Panic Room" but I didn't really like that movie all too much.
Benjamin Button - the movie version will require a tissue box on Christmas day because with the further indepth journey the characters will visually take you on, you're going to need it. The book was rather short in and subtle when it came to a lot of the character and plot development. So, I'm really excited to see how Fincher and screenwriter, Eric Roth envisioned it. Roth wrote "Forrest Gump" and "The Good Shepherd" (which I thoroughly enjoyed).
So, I was talking about my new best friend earlier - here's a photo of him and his wife (I guess) in Berlin. I think she's an actress, lol.
What? You can't say I'm lying. I know him now. I met him back in September and I can't get him out of my mind. Along with some other...people. It was a cool night and he is nothing like what's written about him in the snooty tabloids. I still wonder if he read my letter and gave the other two to Matt and George. I really wonder if George read his...imagine. If he did, I wonder if he laughed at some of the things I mentioned. Whatever. I'll have to wait one day and see for myself.
Anyway, that pic is from the two at Angelina's Berlin premiere of the Clint Eastwood directed, "The Changling".
I mowed the lawn today and I'm not tired but it was good for relaxation. I've had really bad sleep lately. A lot of weird lucid dreams. If any of you are open to dream interpretations, please do tell. So, I dreamt one night of sitting on a bench in the mall and talking to a person with no face. I couldn't hear them talking to me but I kept replying and I have no idea if the person is male or female. Second night of dreams: it was raining inside a house I was in and there were knives in the wall and I began pulling them out and dumping them on the floor. The weird part was that it was raining inside and not at all outside. Last night's dream: I got shot by a man when I was sitting in a room with a bunch of other people who I have no idea were and because somebody else messed up, I got shot at and dumped outside on the street. I didn't die because apparently, my dad found me and took out the bullet from my stomach...using Listerine Agent Cool Blue.
Weird.
