So, I managed to get my 2008 Fall/Pre-Winter Movie preview up on Newsvine and as much as I would like more attention for it, it's not garnering a lot. Sometimes I get really fed up and wonder is all this really worth it? I should probably drop the subject of trying to write for others and just write for myself. I really ought to get back to the second manuscript. It's eating me inside that the year is almost over and all I've got to show is a lot of research of Como, Sudan and New York and a nearly done first chapter that really looks and sounds much more mature and interesting than anything else I've ever written.

I just want everything to happen now. Agent. Published book. The sweet escape...

But I've got to have faith. As corny as it sounds, I've honestly got Michael Johns in my head from when he got the golden ticket to Hollywood, saying to everyone, "it can happen".

All I've got to do is wait.

It can happen.

Speaking of movies, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button looks really interesting and I'm really looking forward to it this winter. But, that's not in my movie preview because the movie releases in winter, not pre-winter. Get it? Winter starts November 21st or something. I forget. But whatever.
