Hi,

Welcome to the most babbly post ever!

1) I did the math this afternoon and my mouth and innards would have cost us around $1600 in the last two weeks alone...if I didn't have the medical insurance I do through my job. When I want to bitch about work, I guess I'll have to remember that. I mean, I dropped $400 today, alone, on a prescription! Yikes! And also yikes! (We will end up paying about 20- 30% of that amount after insurance finishes sorting through it.)

2) One week today till The Big Day. I've been calling it D-Day but my mother requested day that I change that name to R-Day...for Relief Day. Works for me. I have a little stack of supplies accumulating on the kitchen table...though any recommendations for tv series' or movies to rent would be very much appreciated. I'm hoping to get some Doctor Who, Torchwood, and Life on Mars from my parents and sister...and I still have some Heroes to finish...but the more entertainment, the better! (I'm not scared...nope...no way...okay, a little.)

3) I still owe you all my Drunk Hamster post! Oh my gawd, some of my most favourite drawings ever...but I have to do it from work as I'm still on dialup at home for the time being. And dialup is painful for dealing with graphics. Paaaainful.

9) A friend got to come home from the hospital a couple of weeks back. He'd been there since May. 2008 is cautiously looking up...thought 2007 did right at the end, too, so we'll see.
