2nd Annual Utah Literary Awards Ceremony and Festival Opening Reception
The Utah Humanities Council publicly recognizes and honors Utah’s literary community by hosting the announcement of the winners of Utah Arts Council’s 2008 Original Writing Competition, the winner of the 2008 May Swenson Poetry Award, and the Utah Center for the Book’s 2008 Utah Book Awards.

/>Immediately following the awards ceremony will be a musical interlude by Red Rock Rondo, who will perform selections from their new composition, Zion Canyon Song Cycle. An opening reception caps off the evening in the Lower Urban Room.
