Everything about this made me have to stop for a second and think about whether or not I placed Alias in the DVD player instead of Buffy. I'm used to the former resembling the latter, especially after Drew Goddard became a writer for Alias.
Remember the episode about Sydney being the chosen one? I think it was "There's Only One Sydney Bristow." That was written by Drew, so it made sense all of the obvious Buffy similarities, but this is the one and only time I've ever thought Buffy resembles Alias. Weird.
