A few days ago, a bunch of women passed by my stand.  They were whooping it up, and passing out leaflets.  I took one.  It promoted a "Go Topless Day" (NSFW) to be held on the Venice Boardwalk on Saturday.  Supposedly, it was to be some sort of demonstration/march.  Well, good for them.  Wished them well and all.

The next couple of days, they did the same.  The Boardwalk was abuzz with fascination.  Most of the straight men spoke of bringing their cameras with them to catch the show.  The general idea was that there would be any number of attractive, bare-breasted women marching down Ocean Front Walk for all to see.

Today, they came by.  It was about thirty women of varying ages and body types (Which I expected, and was pretty cool with.  If you've ever been to a nude beach, you know what you have to look forward to in these situations).  All of them had their shirts off.  All--sadly--were wearing pasties.  A few had nipple-shaped pasties, which was amusing.

As they passed by the various hungering men, the males dropped their cameras to their sides and sighed deeply, unsated.

Yes, folks.  The topless protest was a huge bust.
