1) Last Thursday was the school annual inspection, and the Head Inspector visited our class in the Bio and SUPW periods. Owing to some unknown reason, it fell to my lot to hand in my Bio CW, HW and SUPW notebook to her, for checking. She checked quite a few other people's notebooks and made a few remarks, but I never knew she'd actually *written* them down in the notebooks. Imagine my surprise when I open my Bio CW to find "More diagrams to be there" on the last page in these large signature-like letters. On my HW, she writes "Very good diagrams. Keep it up!" and on my SUPW note, I get a "No index, no date, no margin." Is it just me or does my upkeep of various notebooks vary way too much?

2) The next day, i.e. July 29, was my first exam of AT III, math. I got back the paper a couple of days before and my marks were 85%. So, my math achievement graph is currently like this:
AT I: 45%
AT II: 61%
AT III: 85%
Like, okay, 85% isn't stupendous, but no one can say I'm *not* improving. *cheerful look* I'm building momentum and am will probably bounce back to 90+ in the next test :D.

3) I had the Science exam on Saturday, S.Sc on Monday, Sanskrit on Tuesday and English today. Let's just say that I wrote them with varying levels of success, depending on whether I studied two hours or three, LOL!

4) Yesterday was Ganesh Chathurthi. Except for minor grumbles on my mom's side, it went on pretty smoothly. I can't say I've ever been over fond of modaks, but I enjoyed eating them, though maybe not as much as the bhel I had in the evening :P.

5) Apart from English, I wrote the Cyber Olympiad today. The questions were tougher than I had anticipated, but easier than the ones given in the Sample Paper on the website. And to my relief, I wasn't the only one writing the NCO (Yue went for the regional basktball comp., so I was worried that I'd get a School Topper medal simply by virtue of being the only person to write the exam!); a couple of folks from X C wrote it too =). I hope I get a good rank.

6) Sunday will by my Math Olympiad. The school's arranging a van to take all the participants to the venue, but it's optional. People who live nearer can arrange their own means of transport. Now, it definitely *is* more convenient for me to report at the school and go along with the rest, but my mom will probably want to come along with me, since she's of the mistaken opinion that I need moral support or something. I need to talk her out of wanting to accompany me. I'll be tensed enough, as it is.

7) I also need to make sure that I don't forget that I have to register for Science and Internation Math Olympiads, conducted by the SOF.

Achiement Tests, Olympiads, FIITJEE, Cumulatives, Pre-boards and finally the all-important Boards. So many exams, so little time.
