Yep that is right I went to visit Temperance and Indra and met Vree. And she is a sweetie...a complete and utter charmer. She has her moody moments. And she can get a little loud.

We were both squacking away at each other and the country music on the ride home. Put her in a cage and turned out the lights in the bird room at 8 pm. Got her up so Pakka could meet her around 12:30am before he left for work. She let him hold her for a moment and then she jumped and flew off. Picked her up and handed her back. Off she went again. Seems like she might be just a bit afraid of men. But she loves me. I think the hair is similar to Indra's.

We are gonna try working with her tomorrow and see if she shows any sign of being able to tolerate Pakka. Cause we cannot have just a one person bird in this house. If she is gonna join the family she has to be able to bond with us both.

I found it really interesting to discover how much of a dominance issue she has. And how quick it can become an issue. At home her cage is kept lower than every one else in the house. Kinda making her low bird on the totem pole. And when I let her sit on the Bird gym in the office for an hour she was pretty cocky... and happy. When I had to reach up to her from a lower perch[office chair below her eye level] she got snappy. and pushy. When I stood up...taller than she was...no problem..she was an angel who just wanted to snuggle.

So I guess we will see what tomorrow will bring...
