So,

We went to the Ballet last night in an attempt to broaden our cultural horizons, but I don't think we will be doing that again anytime soon. It turns out neither of us are really the Ballet type. We just didn't get it and I'm not really convinced that there was anything to get.



I mean apparently there was a story line but who knew? Let's be honest here, there isn't that much variation to a Ballet routine. You jump, spin and balance on your toes but that's basically it. How they can even make a story at all is incredible although not incredible enough to keep is in our seats for the full 2 hours and 45 minutes. In fact, we escaped during the first interval, neither of us wanted to be the one that suggested it but we were both delighted that we both didn't want to stay. This seems to be something of a habit of ours, like when we went to Germany to see the Uri Geller show and escaped when no one was looking and went to the pub.

Last night we ended up watching a movie back at my place with old cheese and a bottle of bubbly. I think we will give the culture a miss in place of alcohol in future...
