So, I liked this song, until I saw the video.  Now I'm kinda confused.  You decide for yourself.

Ready for a nice day off, weather is gorgeous.  No rain in the forecast until Tuesday, it looks like.



That's okay.  I can handle it.  I've got crap to do inside.  I've always got crap to do inside, right?

Hubby and The Kid didn't get home from the Xtreme Shootout until about 1:30am.


No wrecks, so they weren't really 'earning' their money.  The Kid said there was a bad oil down from the start line all the way to the end of the rubber (which is well past the finish line) and it took them almost 2 hours to clean it up.  

I haven't been able to work any events because I've been working too much at my 'real job'.  I love that place, even though I am so not a motorhead.  I love the family that owns the track, I like most of the drivers and I like to look at the pretty cars.  The noise, the fumes, they both give me major headaches and I don't particularly like to work in the time slip booth and sitting around waiting for something bad to happen wears on my nerves a bit as well.  But they pay really good money and it's nice to take that money home when you don't actually do anything.  They have fantastic Christmas parties though and it's alot of fun having a backstage pass to something so exciting.  

I've added some more music to the iPod.  I've got the above music, but I've added some more Amy Winehouse, Kate Rusby, Westlife, James Blunt and my new fave Jack Johnson.  

The husband is really addicted to the new game I put on the laptop.  I can't even get the damn thing from him in the evenings anymore.  The good thing is, I can take the remote control away from him when he gets like that.  Houserule number 66, you can't have the laptop and the remote.  (hee hee).  I make these up as we go along...
