So my friend K and I were hanging out on friday and I needed to drop off some money for my friend M who works at a local fine Italian restaurant in
downtown Grand Rapids .. it was just getting dark when K and I embarked on a simple mission.. drop of some money. But we pretended we were spies and I was
agent 86 and she of course was 99. For this mission we had to pass by the Grand Rapids Police Station, we were on the lookout for the Dutch Taliban.. when I decided to wear my shades, agent 99 did the same. We continued communicating in spy-speak. "Watch out 99 DT at 6 PM " and so fourth..
When agent 99 and myself finally reached our destination, we were happy to have made it to Downtown with minimal Dutch Taliban contact.. not an easy
feat.

I decided the temperature was good for an outdoor drink and we decided to try the raspberry martinis. We sat down on the outdoor patio next to an older
couple and a boomer couple. Agent 99 and I remained in shades to protect our super secret identities.
The boomer couple was just getting done with dinner when I rolled a delicious
hand-rolled cigarette.. The man looked over at me and made a face of disgust as I took my first drag and signed his card, slapped the tab-book shut and
got up to leave, making sure to pull up his khaki pants to hide a prominent beer gut.. as he walked past he bent over to get close to my face and said...

"Hey , did you get your shades at Fags-R-Us? Do you get a discount there?"

Agent 99 and myself were caught off guard, we both looked at each other in amazement... this was a fine dinning establishment after all..
The man entered the restaurant and bragged to the waitress of his smart
comment. I got up and looked at the name on the card...

it is Walter Byington, of Wyoming Michigan..
since I have discovered something else, he likes fly fishing..
