It's not like I'm getting paid extra for this, I'm not even getting paid PER POST, so this is really beyond my duties for mobiusgames.

But I really just can't stop blogging about GONG! - the hilarious new casual mmo sports game from mobiusgames and Tose Shanghai that combines the intensity of soccer with all the fun you can imagine!!!

Here are some of my personal reasons why you should play GONG!:

(URGH. Worst thing about being part of a marketing team is that I have to be careful about what I say because people would associate my personal statements with that of the company. DISCLAIMER: EVERYTHING THAT APPEARS ON THIS BLOG is of my own creation (unless stated explicitly to be otherwise. For official mobiusgames communique, please refer to their website. I'm putting in a disclaimer here just so people won't get confused about when I'm speaking in behalf of the company that's paying for my rent, and when I'm speaking for my own behalf: I'M ALWAYS SPEAKING FOR MY OWN BEHALF.)

• GONG! is an addictive casual game. I usually play GONG! for 15 minutes before going to work. And then another 15 minutes before going to sleep. In between writing copies for the games publishing company that I'm working for, I steal a couple of minutes to play our game. See, that's one thing about working for mobiusgames. I feel guilty when I'm playing OUR GAMES during office hours, but then again, I'm supposed to familiarize myself with our products (which is an advantage the previous copywriter had over me; she was fiercely loyal to mobiusgames titles).
• Because it's a casual game, you don't have to worry much about having a social life. Play it every now (and then/so often). NO NEED to dedicate hours of your life to playing this game before you start to enjoy it. You enjoy it the very moment you start playing it.
• GONG! is for everyone. For hardcore gamers, those who spend thousands of their money to upgrading their PC system to satisfy their gaming needs, GONG! has certain features that appeals to their obsessive nature. BUT FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD-- this being YOU, and ME, the management trainee beside you who play nothing but Diner Dash, and your aunt who's really into solitaire--GONG! is easy to love, easy to learn, easy to play! Already, I managed to convince my sister Astrud, my friend Caz, and my friend Flery's boyfriend Jason, into playing GONG!.
• GONG! has a unique sense of humor that other games don't have. Trust me, you will not despond. I know it's "just a game", but I really curse like a homophobic boyfriend in a spa whenever another player uses that disco dancing skill. It's the one item I really, really hate to get used on me. Having me chased by your dog, that I can take. Calling on Big Mama to make me stop playing, I'll understand. But bringing on the disco, man, you're asking for it.

So there you have it. Those are some of my reasons why I'm blogging so much about GONG!.
