I've been neglecting this blog something terrible lately, but at least now I have an excuse:
My brain has melted.
Truly. I've gone from lightly joking about it to being a bit frustrated about the level of my brain mushiness. Ove this past week, I estimate mushyness levels have risen from 32% to a whopping 83%. I'm forgetting all sorts of things. You can imagine the shock I had this morning when I realized tomorrow is Friday. Sheesh!
I have a naturopath appointment on the 12th, but I may breach the boundaries of critical mushiness if I have to endure more (two in a row so far) nights of tossing and turning accompanied by serious waves of nausea.
But enough of my whinging. I simply wanted to warn you just in case I owe you something or it's someone's birthday and I haven't given three cheers yet. Dreadful stuff, brain mush. I hope it's not catching.
In other news, yesterday was LOVELY. Victorian spring at its finest, I must say. Exceptionally beautiful with sunshine, cool breezes and a lot of gorgeous sights provided by Gippsland areas, Frankston areas, Morwell areas, etc. Yummy.
Also, the restricted no-alcohol, no chocolate, no sweets, no nuts, no beans, no lettuce, no mushrooms, no heaps of things I love has been working fabulously so far. On my Monday weigh-in, I came in at a loss of 14 lbs/6.35 kilos. Fabulous, no? Hopefully I can get down even further by the time Conflux rolls around.
I could blather on a bit more, I suspect, but I'm going to take a hot bath instead before getting to work. (Yes, my life is so, so hard.)
Ta for now.
