I got stranded in LAX last week, thrown around in Chicago and finally made it to Grand Rapids via Kalamazoo.
I never have enough time in Grand Rapids or with my partner, e. We are coming to a time in our relationship that we are trying to find equal footing since the long distance thing will become a not-so-long distance thing in a matter of weeks here. HERE IS THE KICKER: Michigan still has snow. Another kicker: I never get to see all the people I want to see when I'm only home for a few days. People feel shafted. It will be different come May.

Back in Tuscaloosa, I can't wait until the semester is over so I can spend the summer writing and creating my EN 101 syllabus.

now i have to focus on getting my pos car fixed // writing poetry // sleeping.

Today's flight home was great. It was the best fight I've had in months besides my flight to and from NYC in January which was, without one shadow of one doubt, the BEST flying experience of my life.**** Going back to the fixing car comment, my car decided to not start at the BHM airport. I got a jump from the fine people there at the BHM airport but when I went to go grocery shopping as there is no food in my apartment because I was gone for 10 days it acted funny again. ODD. so something like skipping class may be in order to fix it tomorrow. We shall see.

What is in order is DIAGRAM submissions, poetry, reading and sleeping to get it together for tomorrow because lord knows i'm already checked out of this place for summertime.

ALSO i'm finding more and more boyz that i was in love with at one time or another on the myspace. It's weird and kinda refreshing that they some are still living in our hometown and if they're not, they certainly don't have degrees or anything. Kids, yes. By multiple women, yes. Degrees, no. Huh.
