Ugh. I do not feel particularly well right now.
Anyway, I went to see Hancock with Daddy. Pretty good movie, gotta love Will Smith. The acting was actually pretty good, but it appears that the movie had too much plot. I'm guessing maybe half an hour of it ended up on the cutting room floor. Which is a crying shame, because it started to kill the coherency of it for me- worse for my dad, with his crappy hearing. What was left was extremely frustrating, because there were tantalizing hints of a damn good plot going on. Especially towards the end. And the plot WAS exceptional, which just made the loss of it worse.
Oh, and it was really funny. Violent, though- I had to take my glasses off for most of the hospital stuff.
Overall, three stars. Coulda easily been four, though, if it had just held together at the end.
Anyway, after I went out to eat with Daddy at the Paradise and had the scallops, which were very good, as usual. We also stopped off at Borders and I picked up Pride and Prejudice and two DVDs- the complete Invader Zim and the new Futurama.
And Kathleen and Fred just got back from scuba diving, so I don't have to feed their fish anymore AND I bet Kathleen is going to want to see Wall-e now that she is back in the States.
