^_^  So I came back from my LA trip EARLY yesterday morning (we landed around 6 am).  I didn't get to 'come on down,' but one of the ladies I went with, did!  She's one of my mom's oldest friends, and she won a car!  It was awesome!  At least I think it's pretty awesome.  I wasn't quite sure what to make of the over-effusive reactions of the others who were with us (I only knew 2 or 3 of them beforehand).

So a little bummed (bec I didn't win anything at all, not even a free ticket from the three scratchies I bought while out there), I came home and decided to buy scratchies!  I had a $9 win from before my trip so I cashed that in.  I'd also taken out some $$$ while in LA (where they charge $3!!! to use an ATM) to use for odds and ends.  So I blew $20 on scratchies and a Cash 4 thing.  I thought I had a doctor's appointment, but that turned out to be on Friday.

So since my mom had taken the day off, I said let's go to Shorter!  So we did!  And then while I was there, I won $250!!!  Yay!  I blew most of it there...^_^  Well, at least I can say I still have the $$$ I took with me plus a small (very) profit.  We dawdled after dinner (paid for with my winnings!) which is why that happened.  Plus I lost my mom in the casino and kept dropping a dollar here and there at interesting machines as I looked.  Oh, well!  ^_^  I had a LOT of fun!  I even gave my mom $$$!

On the sad side, I totally missed House!  Oh, well!  At least I got to see bits of my soaps...
