I love me some Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog. It's awesome. Got the soundtrack on iTunes yesterday, and it just makes me want more. Much, much more.

The downstairs toilet is broken. All the pipes on the inside and the tank refill tube are jacked up. It was fun laying under the toilet while water meant to fill the bowl was raining down on my though. Awesome. Fortunatly, I've got a four day weekend starting Saturday, so there's plenty of time to finish it.

And plenty of time to play Castle Crashers (XBLA) and Super Mario RPG: Legend Of The Seven Stars (Wii VC). Castle Crashers is an awesome beat'm up in the style of Captain America and the Avengers, with a little RPG sprinkled in. Mario RPG is a classic Super Nintendo RPG with Mario characters and a killer storyline / soundtrack. It is, by far, my favorite video game in the history of games (up until present date - never want to say ever, since something else might come around). I cherish the game, I honestly do.

New schedules for work are almost ready. We're doing a full redesign of every paper (35 total) and moving over to 4-day work weeks. My days off are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, which really sucks. Two worthless days spent at home alone with nothing to do but play games (OK, so it's not that bad), but then only one day with Mary. We haven't had weekends together in the life of our relationsip, so it'd be good if we could make that happen now. We'll see. Things might change. But hey, at least I've got a job I love and I can provide for the family.

I pulled 5 inches of cassette tape out of Beck's ass last night. He'd eaten it and was having problems on the outbound. Grabbed some pliers, had Mary hold him down, spread his legs open and pulled it out. 5 inches. It was horrible. It makes me feel black inside. Dead. Like I've done something that can never be undone. The shame of it...
