Uh, so yeah. Dinner last night was awesome. The next cut is going to be AWFUL to read, because I am SO not into typing at the moment, and I'm making tonnsss of mistakes and it's fucking annoying me to shit.
SO, Matt, the youngest brother, came around first cause I said I was bored haha. He brought chocolates, I was SO impressed. So ok, he's a teacher right. And he teaches at this massive selective school here in Sydney. So they're making it a requirement to have this special laptop for next years Year 7's. It's those new laptops that you flip the screen around and press it down, and it becomes like, a notepad? like, it looks like a graphics tablet yeah? And you have a stylus? And the page turns into like, an A4 piece of lined paper. And it's REALLY easy to write on. It's fucking AMAZING. Like, I am SO impressed with it. It's just....wow. And it's going to be compulsory at this school haha. Jeeez. Seeya later books?
Ok so yeah, after that, we'd had a couple of drinks right, and were talking about music and swapping shit yeah. And we were both talking about how we'd been in Sydney this whole year, and only been to like....ONE concert the whole time. And I suddenly said, I really want to go to Good Vibrations one year (which is a big dance music festival here in Australia). And he agreed. So we just randomly were like, oh we should go. And we looked up the website, and Fat Boy Slim and The Presets are headlining, and he's like. Yup, ok, I'm buying us tickets. I thought he was joking until he put his credit card details in. SO I'M GOING TO GOOD VIBRATIONS. WITH MY BROTHER. WHICH IS KIND OF WEIRD BUT HES COOL, KINDA. IM SOOOOO EXCITED. Fat Boy Slim was my first ever album I ever bought. And I always miss out when they play, so now I'm like, wetting myself. And The Presets are fucking awesome. I was meant to see them at V festival this year but I saw The Smashing Pumpkins instead. SO AH. YAY.
Ok so, by now its 7.30pm, and the rest of ym family arrived. And I haven't started ANY cooking cause I got distracted. I panic. ALOT. Theres only one burner on the stove big enough to actually use, its hopeless, so I had to cook everything at once, so we didn't eat till like 9 or something, UGH. but fuck the food was good. REALLY good. I was impressed. I mean, i was fucking OVER the food by the time we ate, I just wanted a strong DRINK lol. but, yeah. everyone really seemed to enjoy it, and constantly thanked me, and made comments about the food, and saying hwo it was better than a restaurant etc. I actually felt pretty proud LOL, or drunk. Either one. So yeah, I was satisfied. I didn't take any photos, just one of the table, cause I was so preoccupied and stressed haha, sorry. but yeah, it was really good. The Thai Fish Cakes were the best, I'll definitely be making them again!
and my nieces and nephews were being awesome all night, i heart them. wish i got more photos. and theres a bottle of left over coke and DAMNIT i have to drink it, or its a waste LOL. im so against drinking coke now cause i realise how bad it is, and how much weight i put on from drinking it so much last year. i ca probably tell you how many times ive had coke this year. maybe like, 2 cans and 2 glasses?
and ive just had three since 4pm LOL. damnit :/
but uhh yeah. photos?

uhh, cheese plate? this was pre-stress, obviously. haha

most of the food on the table.

the WORST photo of my family ever, lolll.

youngest niece, Indiana. She was all, fuck you flash. i dont blame her.
annddd thats all i got, haha.
And today we had to do Workplace Health and Safety at TAFE. SO BORING. And I found out so many gross things about food, dudeee. I've done the course before, but not so in depth. Rannk. One woman had to leave the classroom at one point cause she was so revolted, she threw up. Nice!
SPN seriously made my night <3 |
