I decided to rejigger my weekly post, as I'm saying too much. So, just highlights from now on!
Erin's been sick most of the week, which has sucked, as the biggest advantage of the holidays is getting to spend time together. I just hope she's better by next week, because uni only gets worse from here on. Pray for her, peeps!
Breakfast at Corinnes' on Tuesday. She cooked up a feast! It was awesome, and then we played pool.
My blog Castle of Nutshells broke through the 100 views/day barrier on Wednesday, which is encouraging.
I was supposed to meet up with Michele for honours discussion on Thursday morning, but forgot. But I've gotten a bulky amount of ethics proposal done. I hope Michele actually has a chance to read mine.
Cell was at Cat's on Friday, with Chicken and Bread and Salad as we used to in the elder days of cell-group. We set goals, and I told them about my goals to learn New Testament Greek and to study the bible, starting with Matthew, using commentaries. Nobody seemed to care.
On Saturday I watched the finale of Season 4 of the Office, 'Goodbye Toby'. It's been a long wait, but it was awesome. I also watched the Fifth Element. Also awesome. Then Stick It, which is not as awesome, but had gymnasts.
Sunday there was a guest choir at church from St Johns College at uni (Apparently they're associated with our cathedral). They anointed the Catechumens this week, so the choir was initially up the back out of site, and there was this one girl with an amazing voice, like an angel. And then, when she walked past up to the stalls, she was being led - she was blind. It was like one of those things in movies - blind girl with voice of an angel. Crazy.
I ended up writing just as much, didn't I? *sigh* |
