NO, really. It totally counts if you're talking full cases of liquids and whole kegs, and multiple trays of wrapped food.

-Occupational workoutGreek Theater, Berzerkeley:
The company I'm with does the concessions at the GT. Usually it's another division of the company that does concessions (I'm generally with private parties), but I was on loan for the weekend. Friday was preliminary load in. This meant delivering kegs of beer to the various beer tents. it also meant long lines us tossing case after case after case of beer and water and such from person to person to load up the pickup trucks. MAN, that was a workout. Felt good too!
Saturday was the show, <a href='
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEpeLwR_Tl8">Slightly Stoopid and friends. I was the <strike>pack mule</strike> runner for the North Gate tent. This meant that all night, I was going from the absolute bottom of the theater, all the way to the very top of the hill (beyond the lawn seats) where the kitchen/storage was, and all the way back down again with either a case of beer over each shoulder or 2-3 trays of food for the chafing dishes.
Actually, everyone thought I had the shit job. But honestly, it wasn't
so bad. Absolutely a great workout, and I got to see a WHOLE lot more of Sly & Robbie, Pepper, and the headliners than my cow-orkers in the tents.
Plus, everyone blazes away like it's an open-air Amsterdam coffeehouse up in the lawn seats. The contact high was nice. ;-)
