Y'know that great old Randy Travis song, "Diggin' Up Bones," about how he looks at old love letters and letting nostalgia get the best of him?? Yeah, I've been woah bad about that lately. Damndamndamn.

But anyway. In the new-love front, there has been a development. Erek has been more boyfriend-esque lately than before. He went to Birmingham with me on Tuesday to get this year's Southern Academic Reviews from the publisher and then to BSC to distribute them. I tried to buy him lunch at Panera (yum), but he bought both of ours before I knew what he was doing...so I insisted on taking him across the street for bubble tea afterwards. :) When we got back to my house, we watched TV and talked. At one point, I went into my room to get my laptop to look something up on wikipedia, and he asked if he could use the internet. I teased him about it for a second, then asked him what he wanted to do. "I just wanted to see if my other girlfriend sent me an email," he said, laughing.

I told Kayne about it later and asked if he thought that Erek thought that I was his girlfriend. "Judging by his use of the word 'girlfriend,' I would say yes," was his reply. Mmm. Yeah. So that was kinda obvious, I guess. I think that it's not official until he asks, and puts it on facebook. That's just my stance. You can't just go around assuming that someone is your significant other, you know?

/>Tomorrow is Summahhh!'s b'day party in Birmingham...which means lots of wine, karaoke, and fun times with a couple of people I really like. It'll be the first time I've seen Kevin in a while, which could be awkward, but not because of anything I did. I think he's just inherently that way. We never even dated, but he gives me funny looks when I see him. Something about that night at the Moose (the night I found out that MWC wasn't, in fact, a homosexual) and everything that followed, I guess.
