Didn't get nearly as much writing done as I wanted, but a lot of planning things out and editing took place.
Accomplishments: Finished "Walker's Bridge".
Finally. I started that story well over a year ago.
Also, not too many books read this month, but all of them were fabulous: Neal Stephenson's Anathem, Lauren Slater's nonfiction book about psychological experiments Opening Skinner's Box, and John Shors' Beneath a Marble Sky.
Also, November is looking like a good book month: I just bought Bear's All the Windwracked Stars! Also, I'm reading a biography of Alan Turing just because it's fun and I've got my eye on two library books about cults.
...not because I'm starting one or anything. It's research. (Research can be fun!)
Technically, there's one more day in October, but it'll be a busy one. I've got a Spanish exam and then the crazy Franklin Street Halloween party. I'm going as Neil Gaiman's Death (the one from Sandman, not from Good Omens).
My roommate is going to be a fabulous Marie Antoinette. Good times all around. |
