Hi. From time to time I make tiny!people (and half wolves). After turning in my story for the Match, I'll be creating another batch of these tiny people.
Perhaps you might like one? (or two, or three) If so, please comment below with your request.
Facts: 1. Anything in the C6D fandoms goes, and possibly other things connected to that. There's a chance you might make a request that I don't think I'm capable of handling, in which case we'll talk things over and make new plans. 2. Due to many promises to make Glorias for funsies, or scientists, rent boys, and firemen so as to encourage writing of fics, this edition of tiny people is AU friendly. So, if you want something from an AU, point me to the fic and I'll see if I can do it. With AUs, we'll probably have to talk over what the tiny people will be wearing. 3. Requests for slightly different clothing is entirely acceptable. So if you want Fraser in the blue uniform (even though he'll hate you for it), or Ray in that shirt with the green collar, lemme know. Also, requests for accessories will be considered. No ponchos. 4. Let's say you've already got a tiny person and he has suffered catastrophic hair loss. (Hypothetically) It is entirely acceptable to request a replacement head or person. I'm constantly trying new things to make the hair stronger, and who knows, you might end up with one who keeps his hair this time. 5. Feel free to alert people I don't know (but whose awesomeness you can vouch for). I'm happy to share with fandom at large.
Notes not included in the tiny person post of Saturday:: 1. The thing about sending out that group after the con was it gave me time to realize things, like that I'd forgotten to give the Rays their tattoos and boot buckles. So noncon people scored a victory in not attending. 2. Denny Scarpa (of whom I sadly have no pictures) was a BLAST to make. The hair worked out pretty well and was fun change of pace. The dress was interesting, if irritating. At first it was a loss skirt, and it was fine, and survived into the oven without issue, only to then acquire small cracks and eventually flatten out. Repairs were attempted, then a second loose skirt (which did much the same thing as the first, and hurt the shoes). Finally, I built a skirt base and extended a skirt around it, which worked out well, though wasn't my original plan. Also, fiddling with the red clay over and over again...uh....made Denny start to look like she'd recently spent some time in Florida and had never gone indoors, not even for a second. So she had to get some deburning done to her skin. The best thing about Denny are the shoes. She has teeny! tiny!heels. The heel part is made of toothpick (Clay didn't work, even after baking.) and the heels really work, Denny stands upright, which was crucial to me in the heel making process. The shoes actually came together really easily and I was full of glee when they did. 3. Darren Nichols was made for my beloved twin sis! Also a lot of fun to make. His hair was the hassle, although by the end I was proud of the uncanny fucking likeness. I was actually sad to give him glasses at the end, because it actually made the likeness less perfect. Anyway, the hair was tricky, because making kinda curly hair kept giving him a 'fro. Eventually I reached a point where halfway through I knew I had it and I was giddy the rest of the time. Choosing an outfit was tricky for Darren, but this seemed a pretty classic look. I was fond of the tape measure blazer, but this had more crazy contrasting colors and patterns. Two stripes into the blazer I thought, "shit, this looks ridiculous." Which, of course, meant it was perfect. The scarf was fun, and though I gave up on the plaid for the pants, at least they still have the bondage pant zippers. 4. Jerry Bines was fun, though plaid is always a bit of a hassle. It requires messing with the clay over and over, and often times, laying on additional pieces will move what's already there. But it tends to result in cuteness, so I approve. I spent forever asking people what Jerry should be wearing: Vest? Jacket? Grey Flannel? Hat? Eventually I thought to myself "Self, I bet slidellra would like best to be reminded of him bending over a pool table." And lo, the decision was reached. I was altogether too enamored of my own brilliance when I thought to also give him a pool cue and a tiny scar. So that's it for now, unless there are questions. |
