Well, we never got any sleep last night at all, finishing our assignment at about half past 8, missing the bus and being late for class. Chrona was freaking out and being rather canon in the whole I CAN'T DEAL WITH THIS, I CAN'T DEAL WITH THISSS thing. He started having panic attacks and crying when the printer decided it didn't want to work, too. Then we printed half the pages wrong *facepalm* Eventually we got ourselves together, he ended up in his Kid form (which is better than Chrona, at least for stupid emotional shit), took a load of caffiene tablets and Mum gave us a lift to college. Not without sparing a lecture about how much she wishes we'd move out an all that.
The class hadn't started when we got there, so thats okay. We got into the overalls and went to the aviary. We were required to catch a cockateil with a net, and then handle it. Kid didn't want to hurt the damn animals with the net, so I went in, caught one quickly, and got it out the net. It was a little fucking psycho. It pecked at me, but then when Lindon came to take a look at it, it got some of his skin and pulled as hard as it could, with blood everywhere. Vicious little bastards >> It was fun though.
After break, we did ferrets. We were shown how to correctly handle them (aka how to stop them biting you) and then we went and took them for walks on harnesses. Kid and I walked a cute little jill with polecat colouration. Apparantly the college found her semi-wild, and she was very wary and bitey. Because of this, no-one wanted to handle her. We went straight in, and restrained her and our classmates wao'd XD It felt good >3
I don't usually update about college but I fronted most of today anyways. (Our classmates wtf'd because 'Matt' was a lot more talkative than normal) Strangely I got on with them better than he does, too.
Before lunch, Lindon asked us if we still wanted the roaches, and he said he could give us a couple in a livefood container for free, providing the substrate and stuff. We agreed, obviously and picked them up in the afternoon break. So we are now the owners of two madagascan hissing cockroaches <3 They are seriously such nice little insects, and their name gives them bad associates (both hissing and cockroach).
And now I'm gonna watch the new SE epipode and collapse from tiredness again. Blood and diabetes tests tomorrow. UGH. Do not want at all.
I really wish we had a camera to take photos in college. BAH. Maybe we can get a new battery or something. |
