There was this couple who bought a house with a bit of a mouse problem. To avoid embarrassment, they held off on doing any major improvements until it was settled. Whatever they were able to do, they did it themselves, but no other person was allowed in until all the mice were eradicated. To fix that problem, they put out all the traps they can. Torturous indeed, but they wanted to get their bar faucets installed as soon as possible.

For a few weeks after, the mice seemed to have disappeared. With that, they hired a repairman to install the faucets. Just as the worker was installing the kitchen faucet, one gray mouse popped up from the cabinets, effectively startling him. As a result, he trips over his tool box, breaks the couple’s glass table, and ends up on the floor, unconscious.

The mouse then jumps off the counter onto the man, squeaks and laughs, runs off his wrench, and out the open door.

The couple has a broken table and an unfinished job, but their mouse problem is officially gone.
