I got to go home early from work today. I was stuck in traffic for awhile. I noticed it was getting to me more than normal. When I got home I was pretty irritated. Then, things didn't go as planned when I got home. Jezzi was a full blast. I realized the emotions and the fire inside. I realized I needed to let the emotions out one way or another. So, I jumped rope and did a few yoga moves. Now I'm pretty calm and the emotions are faint so don't feel so overpowering. I can observe them now as not the real me as they so intently insist on being. They are simply energy reacting to content. Nowhere near as serious as they make things out to be. Hence, I realized I had to release them.
Yesterday night I watched women's self defense moves for about 2 hrs on Youtube. I learned quite a bit. A particular favorite of mine is Dr. Ruthless. She truly is ruthless. The jist of all her techniques and advice were simply..."Go off!" "Shock, Stun, Immobalize and then Run". Situations where they'd never see it coming. I learned several ways to get out a mans grip, break a nose, and break a few bones, as well as getting a man where it really hurts... the groin ;-)
I would love to take a martial arts class and or yoga as well. I didn't mess with it till my sister gave me some dvds about yoga. It feels good to stretch all the muscles.
Also today was my little brother's 20th birthday. He's excited cause he got a seasonal job working for UPS. I'm glad.
Then, tomorrow is Payday and I have to pay rent to both apartments. Won't be so bad though. It doesn't break me or make me. It is what it is. |
