I've been too busy recently to watch any live TV (yeah, okay, I've watched lots of doramas and anime and maybe the movie Serenity, plus read a bunch of manga and a YA novel - but I'm still very busy, I tell you!), so I didn't actualy watch a single bit of the Olympics (shameful admission? I don't really care about sports to begin with, and I've never been particularly patriotic). Little sister xiaobellsa assured me that I wasn't missing much, as it had been flashy but boring, and she'd tuned out before the closing ceremony. And just now I read an email from Yes Asia that was talking about a bunch of Asian pop and rock stars. I hared over toxiaobellsa 's room and said 'Did you know that Andy Lau and Rain apparently performed at the closing ceremony of the Olympics?' 'No', said she. There was silence. 'Fuck!'
Heh. Now that was a classic facial expression. Bet she's going to scour the web now, trying to find those bits. Gotta get your priorities straight in this world!
