Evening, all!

I've been contemplating my ficcish/LJ plans for the rest of the year, such as I can consider them actual 'plans' and not 'vague notions of what I'd like to achieve and probably won't', and just want to get them jotted down here before I forget and let myself get bogged down with other things. So, here they are, for better or worse...

1 - It's apparent now that I won't be able to finish Aftermath before the end of the year. That's all right. I'm making progress, and that's what counts. If I can get to the end of Arc IV (and I WILL), I'll consider that a WIN.

2 - I won't be able to finish Lost Years, either. I realized today that I haven't updated it in 2 months. O_o Damn. Well, two or three chapters between now and the end of the year should suffice, with just a few more to complete after New Year's.

3 - I WILL have the dcu_fandomguide finished by the end of the year.

4 - I WILL continue to participate in the Superman Grand Icontest, until the end of this contest. (Pimping post for this round coming soon)

5 - I WILL complete those outstanding completion banners for those of you at the Free For All that are still waiting.

6 - I have 2 stories to complete for a winter holiday project, that I WILL finish in time.

7 - I have 2 Halloween stories that I WILL finish by next week, and 1 fic for oxoniensis's Fall Fandom Free For All that I WILL finish by Wednesday morning.

8 - I have 1 birthday ficlet that I promised a while back, and I WILL write it, I promise.

9 - I WILL finish the Ad Infinitum picspam series that I started back in June to wish my hubby a happy 10th wedding anniversary. As fate would have it, today (Oct. 27th) was the 12th anniversary of the night we got together. ^_^ Happy Anniversary, sweetie!

10 - I will be signing up for the 12days_of_clois Christmas Challenge, and I will complete my story on time.

11 - I will only write 1 fic for the World's Finest Gift Exchange; last year's claims led to Lost Years, and look how quickly I completed *that* one! O_o

12 - I WILL NOT participate in NaNoWriMo, Yuletide, or any other holiday fic exchanges, anonymous or otherwise. I WILL NOT offer birthday ficlets or 'cheer up' ficlets at the drop of a hat. I WILL NOT entertain new plot bunnies, of any flavor or fandom, no matter how hard they bite at my ankles. If any of you folks catch me trying to renege on that promise to myself, you have my permission to deliver a swift kick to my butt.

13 - And now for my Grand Finale! In the spirit of NaNoWriMo, despite my official non-participation, I WILL write *or* edit and post up to 100,000 words of fic by the end of the year. I have two months, and I can edit up to three 5,000 word chapters of Aftermath a week. The counter will go up in an official tracking post on November 1st. I'm ready. Bring it on. ^_~

In the end, I hope you can all forgive me for being more uncommunicative than usual. I know I've already been skimming by posts and not leaving comments on personal stuff, generally failing in the friendship department. But I *am* reading and keeping an eye open for important developments on the F-list. My love to you all. :) *huge hugs*
