woooo, fall break! awesome stuff. At Wired Coffee now, waiting for Kathleen (lj user=newtypeshadow) to get here and reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I didn't expect it to be so cute and funny. Between the narrator getting attacked by dogs after making faces at them and then this:

Narrator: *sitting in a room with the stoic lady of the house; looks around and tries to make conversation* Oh, that's a lovely pile of kittens there. They must be your favorite.
Lady: A strange choice of favorites, if so.
Narrator: *looks closer--it's actually a pile of dead rabbits* Oh, uh, yeah. Right.

I'm won over. This book is awesome. ♥
