Today in 1993, The X-Files first premiered. What's your favorite episode? Have you ever experienced paranormal activity yourself?

I normally do not answer these "Writer's Block" things because, well, why would I update if I had nothing to say?

BUT the question today is about X-Files, my first love.  And it is X-Files' 15th glorious birthday! ::cue X-Files theme::

I'm a super-fan: I participate daily in an online forum, watch it every night before I go to bed, obsess over every minute detail, wax philosophically on it to anyone who will listen, and have dreams about Mulder and Scully.  I eat, breathe, drink, sleep this show.

That being said, it is almost impossible for me to choose a favorite episode.  I have a trinity though:

1) Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man
2) Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space
3) Pusher

'Musings' is an amazing portrait of my favorite character - take a guess - the diabolical Cigarette Smoking Man, the greatest villain who has ever graced entertainment of any medium (The Joker is an extraordinarily close second).  If I had a gun to my head and had to choose one episode from my trinity, this is the episode I would pick without question.  In this episode, you get to take a deeper look into the mind and heart of the man with a pack of Morley's and a gun.  I could go on all day about how this episode makes me feel but I would need more time.  So maybe for a later date.

'Jose Chung' is a perfect mixture of dark humor, conspiracy theory, and insightful dialogue.  This episode is absolute perfection incarnate.  That's really all I can say.

'Pusher' is probably the best Monster of the Week episode the series has to offer.  Robert Patrick Modell (aka Pusher) is one of the most interesting serial killers they have ever featured on the show both in terms of his power and his motives.
