The First step, the first movement of my arm, How the light sings off of your form, blindingly beautiful, Listen to the wind part before you, it's speed no match for your grace. The Second step, my arm now moves as if possessed, I need not think, I lose myself in the glory of synergy, Crossing the ground, we Dance! The truth of my Nature is revealed in your Glory, The forms of ages past forgotten, We weave new ones, Power calls! From Dawn till the fall of Twilight, None can touch us, we are one, Unstoppable in our calm Sea of Motion. Soon they come, hoping to dim our light, As Gnats we are only vaguely aware of them, They matter not, subsumed by our Pattern. As Countless leaves from Autumn trees they fall, and we care not, too enraptured in our own World, drawn into new and strange paths of strength.
We Dance and the Weak Die! We Dance and the the Skies rain Blood! We Dance and the Fates of Men are Lost!
In our power, we forget, the fragile natures, of Hearts and Souls, we reap the Loves of others, Tears flowing from Children and Wives. I hear the Laments as you can not, and remember, Warm Embraces, and softly spoken words, From those who have loved me, broken though I was. I am not made of Steel, I have the weakness of flesh, You do not know it, your Nature, though strong, is cold, We are one, but cannot be so forever, some things should not be. />I remember why I put you aside before, why I stopped carrying you, The power, so seductive, burns the hand that wields it, It tears me apart from the inside, and melts my dreams. It is in our Natures' to kill, but only in mine to grieve, I regret the destruction we can bring, the fear that lights, the Eyes of others as we pass, We are Death. I wish to be more, I wish to mend the hurts we cause, You do not understand, Can not understand, my Feelings, I put you down, again.
We Dance and I Weep! We Dance and my Blood runs Cold! We Dance and I Feel my Soul is Lost! |
