After a thoroughly entertaining car five-hour car ride with my dad and my little bro, and two days at a racetrack with most of my family, i can now say that i am on vacation. i am in the lovely city of Guelph, where i plan to move to as soon as i have cash and an actual plan (i have a very small amount of one and a very vague but hopeful idea of the other).

Not much happened at Mosport, but a brief summery would include: spending the night at Randy's place, watching the rain, cooking for the guys and keeping the campsite in one piece - metaphorically speaking 'cuz we actually had like, four tents and a trailer and five cars - helped my dad and uncles put up a tent that eight years of Girl Guides did NOT prepare me for, watching the rain and thunder and lightning, riding a bike for the first time in way too long and rediscovering muscles that i had left for dead, getting caught in the rain - not as fun as the song implies for i had no pina coladas with me, got drunk with my dad, little brother (age 14), sister, cousin and soon-to-be brother-in-law, having my dreads discussed *cough* ridiculed *cough* by my grandma and aunt, and trying to keep everything we had dry because of the rain. Yeah, so that was a long summery, but it was actually really boring.

Guelph is just as beautiful as always, 'cuz it has culture and history that doesn't include mining and therefore it kicks Sudbury's nickle-plated ass. i'll probably be hear for a few more days, then Greyhound it back to the crater. Yes, how brave am i? Taking the bus after the whole 'decap' thing that went down.
