So, I went to Woodfield last night! I bought a root beer float at the McDonalds and that's it. But it was fun regardless. Particular because everyone's getting ready for Christmas. I still think it's ridiculous to get ready for Christmas when Halloween hasn't even passed yet, but I really love shopping at Christmas time. I like all the lights and the colors and the sales. And I have good memories of shopping with the family at that time of year.

It was kind of weird, a bunch of people tried to sell me stuff. And I'm thinking 'wtf, woman, I can't afford to buy a diamond necklace!' B-but I did look nice, and I DID have my Coach purse with me. So I guess they mistook me for someone who has money. xD

I saw something that made me want to have money, though. It was in, er, Delia's? And they had a PURPLE COAT. A freaking shazzy purple coat that so stylish and warm! I've been wanting a pretty warm coat, since the only warm one I have is my varsity one. Don't get me wrong, I love my varsity coat, but I want a stylish one too. But I kinda didn't have 80 dollars with me. Boo.

I went into Macy's, which was a mistake, I always get so lost in there. And I went into Hot Topic and got glared at for being in there and not being goth or something. Blah. And I went into the Jessica McClintock and Total Wedding Stores and looked at the pretty dresses! I love pretty dresses~

It was raining pretty hard last night, so driving was kind of a pain. But I think driving in rain a lot has helped me with my fear of thunderstorms, the BLINDING RAINSTORM in particular. I just think, 'psh, I drove through a BLINDING RAINSTORM, thunderstorms can't be all that bad'. They still make me uncomfortable, but it's better.
And by the way, yes, I do have to say BLINDING RAINSTORM in all caps.

One of Mom's friends wanted to see Biscuit, so I took him out. But Biscuit got freaked meeting all those people at the same time. He's not used to meeting new people. We always have the door closed at parties, and he's in my room, so he usually sees only me. And occasionally Mom, Mark, and Sarah. And he sees Laura if she's at home, but yeah. But I brought him back to his cage and calmed him down, and before long he was just fine.

Woke up this morning feeling pretty sick. I stayed in bed for like three hours, until Mom and her friends went out. Then I ate and took a shower and watched TV and I feel a lot better. Truth be told, I think it's because of all the people here. It makes me uncomfortable having all these people here. Couldn't tell you exactly why. And my stomach tends to act up when I'm nervous or freaked, so yeah. That's probably it. They'll all be gone by tomorrow night, yay, and Dad'll be home tomorrow night, too.

And there was some other stuff. I don't really feel like typing it all out, but for the last few weeks or so the thought of college made me want to shoot something, and it doesn't anymore. Wrote more of my application essay today and made a huge checklist for applying for all the colleges I am applying to. Which, by the way, has changed yet again. North Park out, Transylvania back in. ORZ

Mom's friends won't be back until midnight, so I still have 4 and a half hours. Yay.

Finished season 5 of Gilmore Girls. Hah, I kinda don't want to watch season 6, because the first few episodes are incredibly depressing, and the rest are still depressing until Jess comes along and shakes some sense into Rory. And then we get into the whole April business, and it's just like. MY LIFE. MY LIFE IS PAIN AND SUFFERING.

I should make different icons. I'm getting so bored with the ones I have now.
