The band debuted in November 2006 with their self-titled album, which reached number one on the Billboard Top 200 charts and sold more than 3 million copies for a triple platinum certification. “It’s Not Over,” the first single the band released, immediately shot to the top of the charts, reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and in the top three of several other charts. The band has continued to release singles that have hit the Billboard Top 5. Among them are: “Home,” “What I Want” which features famed guitarist Slash on guitar, “Over You” and most recently “What About Now,” among other successful singles. Daughtry is currently working on its sophomore album of which its namesake lead singer is fervently writing songs for.
