Heyya,

It's been a while since I've done this, so bear with me, friends, as I take you on a journey through the comings and goings of my life. 

Recently, as it is the summer, not many journal-worthy things have happened. I have gone out a lot, seen many friends, made many new friends, and lost many old ones. However, a friend who leaves you is not a friend at all, so I don't mind. ^ _ ^

This summer I feel as though I have changed significantly, and I feel as though that change was for the better. I feel like a good person, and that was not something I could say in years gone by. However, I have lived but a few years, and there is still much ahead of me. For that, I am grateful. Before, I said that I didn't want to live a full life, but that has changed now. I have finally seen the possibilities for my future, and I intend to keep those possibilities both open and positive. 

Now that I have reached a point of clarity in my life, I feel as though I will continue to excel as I could have in the past. However, what has passed has passed, and as far as I know, there are no machines that allow one to go back in time. As a matter of fact, were I even able to go back to change my present, I don't believe that I would do it. Every thing that I have done in the past has resulted in the person I am today, and I would not want to change that. 

I am aware that some may not see me as I see myself, but if they cannot respect me, or even make an attempt to be civil, they are not worth my time. I may be called a bitch, I may be called a bitty, but I am who I am, and I would not change that for the world. 

As you can see, the summer is a time for one to realize many things that they may not think about during the school/work year. For example, I am of the impression that my stress and concentration on the school work of the 07/08 school year prevented me from making these discoveries about myself. 

There is still time, my friends, the summer hols are over sooner than you think, so just take some time to yourself, and reflect. You never know, you might just be finding something out about yourself that you never stopped to think about before.
