Today I saw a picture of an old friend and in that picture he was with someone else and looked wonderfully happy. My heart broke and I almost wanted to cry, I don't know why. I guess some part of me was hoping that one day he and I would be together. Yes I know that it sounds stupid, but its true. He is smart, funny, and out of this world handsome. Everything a girl could want in a man. I knew he was dating someone else... I have no idea what I was thinking, I mean we hadn't spoken since high school, maybe once or twice after that. I'm sure he hasn't even thought of me, well at least not like I've thought about him. Its such a sad thing you know, keeping one's feeling hidden. I remember the first day I saw him, I was 12 yrs old and he took my breath away and then I heard him speak and I melted lol. It was love at first sight, then of course time went on and I never dared showed my feelings because I wasn't the only girl that felt that way about him. I fell in and out of love with others, and I watched him go through girlfriend after girlfriend, I was just happy that he and I were great friends. Senior year we had first period together and I was lucky enough to have been seated at the same table as he was, we sat face to face and I remember being terrified, how was I supposed to act and do when he was right infront of me lol, it was horrible, but since we were friends it got really easy, really fast. I will never forget when he put both hands on my face and told me that I was so beautiful, amazing. After that semester was over we no longer had that class anymore and I missed him, and when he finally told me that he missed first period, I was so happy because I was the reason he missed being in that class. Well I guess I can't keep my head in the clouds forever right, I mean we all deserve our prince charming, so let him be hers. I'll find mine someday.
